I’m a mother of two (8 and 4), business owner, vocalist/musician as well as a published author. What ‘extra’ time I have, I’d prefer to spend writing or singing instead of marketing. So! I’m looking for a virtual assistant who knows how to market the written word (and preferably also music) ONLINE and who can help with:
• Formatting/uploading to smashwords (etc), Amazon/Kindle (managing Shelfari)
• Updating my blog (possibly moving from blogspot to wordpress)
• Transforming my Facebook page into a reader magnet (and helping me manage it)
• Managing LinkedIn, BookTours, Writers Den, etc.
• SEO activities on my web site, statistics, online ordering, etc.
• Setting up virtual book tours/signings
• Finding related blogs/sites to post on, etc.
• Using video to market books and/or MP3s (I have a producer)
• Suggesting contests and/or promotional items
