Tomorrows Workplace is a project sponsored by a Board of Trade in British Columbia. The project is to support small and medium sized businesses to be more sustainable for the future, around three streams: business practices, human resources practices, and building a diverse workforce.
We are unique
Yes, this is an innovative project, the first of its kind in Canada. A board of trade is looking to support the future success of its members, and all businesses in its community, understanding that in order to achieve continued success, solid business and people practices, and building partnerships within the community are essential. The unique piece is simply that, building community relationships where all stakeholders benefit; specifically all job-ready individuals in the community. The workplace of tomorrow will have a very diverse workforce and organizations that understand and prepare for that reality will be rewarded on many levels.
