Engineering, Oil, Oil and Gas, Pipeline, welding, Metal Fabrication
I run a portable welding service.
My target audience will consist of project supervisors and management who employ me. My logo should get my truck noticed among all the others on a job site.
What our logo should communicate
The theme should stick to the meaning behind the word "Diablo" and pick up on the devil-like theme as it associates to welding. I have played on the association between the fire, sparks, and heat associated with what I do and my company name, so a logo should pick up on these themes.
First impressions on our logo should be
I'd like to hear that someone thinks my logo is "badass"!
We want this in our logo
Since "Diablo" translates as "Devil", I'd like to see some elements that incorporate that. Some things to consider may be devil's horns, or the tail, or a devil mascot that reflects the style of the motorcycle and/or hot rodding culture.
Additional comments for the designers
My logo should translate well onto other advertising and promo items, such as embroidered or printed jackets, hats, and shirts. Style should follow the kinds of clothing associated with the motorcycle and hot rod cultures.
Styles we are interested in:
Character logos often use fun, memorable mascots to represent a brand. College sports teams and
businesses use this type of branding to establish a more personable relationship between their customer and their brand.
An emblem uses a shape or picture to literally or metaphorically represent a company or brand.
Generally the organization's name will be included in the emblem.
