Target Audience
Targeting breastfeeding mothers ages 25-45 who want to breastfeed discreetly in public without sacrificing their sense of style. This mom wants to be active and social with their child - go to restaurants, parks, etc and wants a wardrobe that offers a more fitted appearance than most other nursing wear in the market today.
What our logo should communicate
Family oriented, feminine, nurturing yet fashionable, tender and motherly while maintaining a trendy flair
We want this in our logo
I like the colors purple and sage. I seem to prefer logos that are somewhat vintage and cartoon-like but I still want to maintain sophistication.
I will be using the logo in mom/baby newsletters, banners at baby fairs, etc so want it to capture attention and clearly show what my product is. I also need to use the brand name as a clothing label so the type font needs to be distinct. If some element of the logo could eventually be used as an emblem
embroidered on the shirt, that would be an added bonus.
Additional comments for the designers
I am trying to think of a tagline for my company. If you have any ideas that could be incorporated in the logo, I would love to see them! Some thoughts I had - "breastfeed anywhere, we've got you covered" or "where fashion and functionality meet"
Styles we are interested in:
Abstract Mark
Abstract marks use a single shape or symbol to represent a brand or product. Their genius is their
simplicity as customers recognize abstract logos at a single glance.
Character Logo
Character logos often use fun, memorable mascots to represent a brand. College sports teams and
businesses use this type of branding to establish a more personable relationship between their customer and their brand.
Emblem
An emblem uses a shape or picture to literally or metaphorically represent a company or brand.
Generally the organization's name will be included in the emblem.
Letterform Mark
A letterform mark typically uses 1 to 3 letters from the business name to represent the
organization.
Word Mark
A word mark consists of the company's name in a stylized type.
