Flourish is a pop-rock family band on a quest to entertain kids and families through positive high-energy rock music. The most recent adventure for the Flourish Family Band was being signed to a management deal with award wining producer Andrew Lane. Andrew has received international acclaim as a producer and music executive with strong ties to Disney/Universal, Warner Music Group, EMI and Sony/BMG among many others. As a multi-platinum and Billboard Award winning producer, Andrew has proven himself to have the â??midas touchâ?? when it comes to the music business. His credits include writing and producing for notable projects such as High School Musical, Hannah Montana, B5, The Disneymania Soundtrack and The Bratz Dolls just to name a few.
That the band is fun, relevant, cool, hip, flourishing (growing in a positive way), and visually stimulating.

The first image shows the original Flourish logo on the back of a postcard promotional piece (bottom left). This was a very nice logo, but was not age appropriate in color. The flourishings around the logo were very nice but the entire look seemed a bit dated.
The second image is the current logo being used ("flourish" in a circle). A bit cheesy but came closer to appealing to the right demographic. There is something too "simple" about this logo.
The third logo is from an add campaign run by Old Navy with Rock Band called "Gobblelpalooza". It had an immediate visual appeal that is stimulating. It is just an idea and a sketch was made in the next image (just for inspiration, please do not copy).
The sketch says "Flourish Band" but we have decided to keep the logo and band name as just "Flourish". So please do all designs with just "Flourish"
The fourth image is of a group called "WOW" that we felt encompassed the color, direction and feel that we are looking for. If we can have a similar idea without ripping them off, then this would be ideal. We particularly like the flourishings around the design as well.
First impressions on our logo should be

I have provided some sample images to show you where we have been and the direction we would like to go, but am open to someone blowing our minds with something different.

We do want to have just a hint of a "retro" vibe without going too crazy (think 60's or 70's hippie era).
