Audience is highly varied. Some of our courses are very general and most adults are potential viewers.
What our logo should communicate
We are looking for a simple 3D-looking character.
Additional comments for the designers
We are looking to develop a simple 3D character for our e-learning courses.
There are pages of examples on http://www.istockphoto.com. Search for â??3D Manâ??.
See the attached header bar graphic for our website colours. The character should be one of these colours or something complimentary.
Green RGB 153,204,51
Blue RGB 94,128,170
We would like to start by creating the character, then we want to continue to work with the same person to have this character doing different things. Examples include:
â?¢ Wearing a hardhat.
â?¢ Holding a fire extinguisher.
â?¢ Wearing a body harness.
â?¢ Using a ladder.
â?¢ Using a shovel.
â?¢ Holding a first aid kit.
â?¢ Using crutches.
â?¢ Holding various small tools and devises.
â?¢ Wearing different combinations of protective equipment (footwear, hardhat, gloves, chaps, coveralls, safety glasses, face shield, respirator, etc)
â?¢ Sitting at a computer workstation.
â?¢ Carrying a clipboard.
â?¢ Locking out equipment.
â?¢ Holding a chainsaw.
â?¢ Reading a book.
If you are not interested in the ongoing work, thatâ??s fine too.
For this initial tourney, we request two specific examples. In each image the pose and angle of the character must be different to help us see the 3D profile. In the first image, we would like the character wearing a hard hat. In the second image, we could like to see "him" holding a fire extinguisher.
Thank you for your interest. We are looking forward to seeing your ideas.
Styles we are interested in:
Character logos often use fun, memorable mascots to represent a brand. College sports teams and
businesses use this type of branding to establish a more personable relationship between their customer and their brand.
