First impressions on our logo should be
Personal use: Hip/trendy/cool/fun but NOT 'gimmicky' or cheap.
Business use: High quality/smart travel design/personal/chic/gender-neutral
We want this in our logo
It must be easy to read. We like simple since 'simple' tends to cross age, gender, economic, religion, and race barriers. (like an actual tattoo does!)
CAN'T be mean/gothic - no skulls/crossbones etc
Additional comments for the designers
1. neat if font could be 'tattoo' like. Fires of Ysgard Reg &Copperplate; Gothic light are examples we like (see file). something simple but different. Not case sensitive
2. If the logo actually looked like a tattoo that would be cool, but not necessary.
3. Even though it's Tattoo Luggage Company, 'Luggage Company' can be reduced to Luggage Co., Luggage, or nothing at all. We are flexible on this item and would love to see how designers use this freedom!
4. We also sell accessories for travel/school etc.(in Tat-tools section of website) so logo needs to scale well
5. Wide isbetter than tall
