SEMB offers a hands-on study abroad experience through programs focused on the interdisciplinary education of local & global social enterprise initiatives learned in the field & applied "on the bus".
We are unique
Through an experiential learning process, participants examine a range of pressing social problems where they travel—i.e. poverty, climate change, illness and disease, illiteracy, human trafficking, at-risk youth—as well as innovative solutions to those problems that create real social change. In doing so, seMagicBus Participants will interact with some of the world’s leading social entrepreneurs and visit their social enterprises to understand their vision, operations and change strategy. Social Enterprise Magic Bus is intended to inspire social entrepreneurship at home by imbuing travelers with knowledge and skills gain from first hand interactive learning process.

SEMB is a product of Virtue Ventures and the branding of SEMB should reflect that relationship. There must be a refined generational and international appeal.
SEMB's target audience is primarily college students interested in sustainable business practices and local/global social causes. In conjunction with students, SEMB targets universities internationally as partners for abroad programming. As the programs expand, SEMB will be offering practitioners and academics like minded abroad programs centered around social entrepreneurship.

Social Entrepreneurship is the practice of using business and innovation strategies to solve social problems. SEMB is an academic and experiential conduit to understanding the expansive and dynamic social enterprise industry, therefore the logo should reflect that authenticity. SEMB is a unique program that puts the classroom in the field, lectures delivered on the bus in between field work and application. It's not simply a study abroad service but a reality based experience, offering participants first-hand context to a myriad of social entrepreneurship initiatives.
