Target Audience
Our main audience are educators (teachers, principals, coaches, librarians, music directors, etc..) We also will have a lot of parents and friends/family of students and educators log in to give money. Lastly, we will have some corporations participate in sponsoring campaigns as well.
First impressions on our logo should be
We want to be perceived as helping make great things happen in education. Edbacker will make great projects, programs and events possible that may never happen otherwise. We want to seem innovative.
We want this in our logo
We don't want any images that are traditionally associated with education (school buses, apples, etc) but are open to them if they are done in a new and fresh way.

We want to express 3 main ideas- (1) making good things happen (possible) in education (for students), (2)innovation in school fundraising, (3) trustworthy and responsible with how we do business

First impressions on our logo should be
Iconic (like Nike and Apple Logo), Instant uniqueness and recognition, very easy to read.
We want this in our logo
The "i" in iProdoos needs to be a standalone symbol/emblem of the company. It needs to be simple and very iconic like the apple & Nike logo, and yet have a slight mascot quality without smiley face.
Additional comments for the designers
See attached PDF for ideas not final style and we are looking for something very unique and very creative at the same time...
The logo must look equally as good in color, gray scale and black &white;. It should be able to go on a button or a billboard.
Two Design Options:
1) The company name is "iProdoos and the letter "i" in iProdoos is the icon, but it also needs be part of the word... When you read iProdoos the "i" can't be so different that it doesn't seem to be part of the name.
2) Design a logo similar to the Adobe logo with clear iProdoos and "i" as an icon above it.
