Compelled to take a closer look even though they may not want to due to the dark, disturbing subject matter.

We want this in our design

I am looking for a cover to capture the grittiness of addiction yet in a subtle enough way that draws the reader in rather than repels them.

Additional comments for the designers

I suggest taking a look at the two attached chapters, which I believe capture the essence of the story. Also, please note the setting of the novel: cold, snowy, dark, depressing
