It's a story about an Australian couple who purchase an old writing box which has a jewelled Jesuit Cross concealed in a secret compartment, and a letter which mentions a chest of church treasures looted by Boxers during the Boxer Rebellion in China in 1900. The couple go to China chasing the chest.
